The project consists of supervising the remodeling, adaptation and construction of new works within the facilities of the University of El Salvador that will be used during the Central American and Caribbean Games 2023.
The following actions were taken:
- Supervision of the refurbishment of 24 existing buildings, 1 breastfeeding centre, 8 university entrances and 4 auditoriums.
- Supervision of the construction of 13 new buildings and 2 three-level terraced bathrooms within the facilities of the University of El Salvador, which included the following facilities:
- Drinking water facilities.
- Wastewater facilities.
- Electrical facilities.
- Ventilation system facilities.
- Supervision of the quality of works and materials by means of laboratory tests.
- Supervision of finished works through topographical surveys.
- Monitoring and control of the implementation of the work programmes of each contractor.
- Monitoring and control of WFP measures and Occupational Health and Safety measures.
