DEVELOPMENT OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC FOREST DATA SYSTEM

Vielca developed the country’s forest data management system, creating an integrated database, forms for data entry, automating carbon calculations according to the United Nations Framework Convention, and displaying graphical and geographic data. All of this was published on a web portal with a documentation kit and e-learning resources.
