Support for social and infrastructure recovery in post-disaster Nicaragua. Construction of 147 homes in the community of Haulover, municipality of Prinzapolka, RACCN – Nicaragua.

Within the framework of the National Program for the Construction of Social Interest Housing, implemented by the Institute of Urban and Rural Housing, VIELCA – CONCREMAT has been entrusted with the supervision of the construction of more than 7,000 homes (in 7 departments and one Autonomous Region of the Caribbean Coast) for families living in extreme poverty, in conditions of high social vulnerability and disadvantage, who live in spaces that do not provide the minimum conditions of habitability or do not have their own housing.

The objective of the supervision service is: To represent the Contracting Party before the Contractor, responsible for the supervision of all projects to be executed in the Extreme Poverty component as the main scope and in the case of the Housing Credit and Subsidy component, the firm will guarantee work inspectors to provide technical follow-up to the projects to be executed, with greater emphasis on the executed projects presented by the Auxiliary Entities

Additionally, the construction of 147 homes is being overseen for the indigenous community of Haulover, Prinzapolka, on the Caribbean coast, which was affected by Hurricanes ETA and IOTA.
