The objective is to strengthen educational quality by improving school infrastructure—prioritizing classrooms, sanitation facilities, administrative areas, and risk mitigation works—with an emphasis on areas of high poverty.
It involved the evaluation of 15 educational centers across several departments of Honduras: Comayagua (6), Intibucá (1), Lempira (1), Ocotepeque (3), and Santa Bárbara (4).
The consultancy comprised three main stages: assessment (site visits for technical, legal, and environmental diagnosis), formulation (designs, calculation reports, blueprints, budgets, and schedules), and review and validation (approval by FHIS and SEDUC). Deliverables will include comprehensive dossiers for each educational center, containing legal documentation (proof of ownership, community records), technical documentation (construction plans, specifications), and financial documentation (budgets by activity and input), ensuring compliance with local regulations and the integration of sustainable technologies.
