The work consisted of the Development of the Supply Master Plan for the Management of the Municipal Potable Water Supply Service of the Municipality. At the same time, the modeling of the supply network was carried out using the EPANET software.
The design population for the scenario was 22,648 inhabitants and that of the future scenario is 24,876 inhabitants for the year 2025 and 31,101 inhabitants for the year 2040.
The main features of the network are:
- 215,583.42 m of conduits in the current state. With a diameter range from 20 mm to 350 mm. The materials of the conduits are: Ductile Casting, Polyethylene, Fibrocement and PVC.
- 275,603.17 m of conduits in the future state. With a diameter range from 20 mm to 350 mm. The materials of the conduits are: Ductile Casting, Polyethylene, Fibrocement and PVC.
- The works proposed in this supply plan include: the extension and renewal of the supply network, the preparation and purchase of 4 new wells and their connections to the network, the extension of a reservoir of 1,400 m3 and five new reservoirs of 1100, 1200, 5000, 500 and 7500 m3 capacity and the meshwork of the downstream network.
