The BLAW project’s main objective is to develop a new, comprehensive technological solution for the early detection of spills, blockages, and breaks in both urban and interurban sewer networks. Through continuous monitoring of sanitation and stormwater drainage infrastructure, it aims to prevent failures and collapses, as well as strengthen resilience against extreme weather events. The solution will focus on the continuous inspection of critical elements of the sewer network, such as pipes, collectors, manholes, and inspection chambers, using sensors and real-time data acquisition technologies.
