Description of the project
The project consisted of modernising the irrigation method in the area of the municipalities of Simat, Benifairó and Tavernes de la Valldigna, located in the Comarca de la Safor (Valencia). The planning for the localized irrigation of this area has been thought of based on the construction of two reservoirs for collecting water from sources and wells. These reservoirs are the Clot reservoir, at elevation 30, which will be a reservoir; and the Mosaira reservoir, at elevation 92, which will collect water from the wells with the highest elevation. In the two ponds, pumping with variable frequencies has been planned that will give enough pressure to be able to reach the highest level of the estate, reaching these with the necessary pressure to establish the drip irrigation system. In this project we finished the network at the filtration and fertilizer heads, being the responsibility of the Community of Irrigators to carry the water from the aforementioned heads to each of the user’s plots.
The main elements of the networks covering the irrigation area are:
– Network 1:
