The project consisted of the construction of a new footbridge for pedestrian and cycling traffic over the Picassent ravine, which will allow an adequate connection to public transport. This action favours the permeability between the urban core of Omet and the metro station on the VT-001 railway infrastructure of F.G.V. in Picassent.
The walkway was designed with a metal lattice structure lower than the board with a central clearance of 45 m and two lateral clearance of 9 m. The overall width is 3.40 m, so the clear width for pedestrian and cyclist traffic is 3.20 m.
The work was carried out in the following phases:
- Phase I. Progress (collection of all pre-existing information, including that of the services concerned, cartography and topography, hydrological, geotechnical, landscape, railway reserve and cycling mobility, to allow the complete definition of the structure and the generation of valued alternatives,
- Fase II. Elaboration of the Project.
- Fase III. Acceptance and supervision of the Project.
